Location: Montredon is a hamlet situated approximately 2km from Besse en Chandesse, 10km from Murol, 12km from Lac Chambon and about 30km from Issoire, at an altitude of 1050m in the heart of the Sancy mountains.
Besse is a lovely mediaeval village with pretty cobbled streets in the centre.
It is a short drive from the volcanic crater Lake Pavin where you can fish or take walks around the lake and local area - and also from the ski station of Superbesse with 45km of downhill pistes. Other places of interest to visit from Besse include the towns of Murol, with it's Chโteau (mediaeval re-enactments in season) - Saint-Nectaire, with it's Romanesque church, casino, activity park and thermal baths, Lac Chambon where you can swim, fish windsurf or hire a pedalo/canoe. The area is a centre for walks/cycling with many beautiful trails for all abilities.
Your holiday property: It is an attractive stone built house with an enclosed terrace of 40m2. It is in a very calm spot with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
On the ground floor you will find: a lounge/diner of 35m2 with TV and wood burning fireplace - a kitchen separated from the lounge by a counter - garage/utility room with WC and washing machine.
First floor: 3 bedrooms, two with one double bed each and one with one double bed of 130cm 1 single bed - shower room and separate WC.
