Location: Besse en Chandesse is a very pretty medieval town just 5 km from Super Besse, 10 km from Murol , 12km from Lac Chambon and about 30 km from Issoire; it lies at an altitude of 1050m in the heart of the Massif du Sancy with its dormant volcanoes and beautiful scenery.
The house is in a calm spot about 200m from the shops and amenities and 5 km from the ski resort of Super Besse, (45 km of downhill runs and 120km of cross country runs).. Besse is a charming town with picturesque streets, not far away is Lac Pavin (depth 90m) a wonderful spot for fishing enthusiasts and lovers of nature. There are many other visits, walks or outings to experience in the area; Murol with its imposing castle - St. Nectaire and its medieval church, caves and casino - Chambon sur Lac where you can swim, windsurf or hire a pedalo - you can also wander round the street market in Besse which takes place every Monday.
Your holiday home: It is a detached house completed in 2005 in a peaceful location with a lovely view. It is very comfortable and on two levels. The property comprises - On the ground floor: a small kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and ceramic hob separated by a breakfast bar from the lounge/dining room with a wood burning stove and french doors leading onto a terrace with lovely views of Besse and the mountains - 2 double bedrooms - shower room and separate WC. On the 1st floor mezzanine there is an independent twin room and another small lounge area with TV, DVD player and a video player.
