Location: Le Verdier is a small hamlet situated approximately 4km from Besse en Chandesse and from Murol, 6km from Lac Chambon et 35km from Issoire in the heart of the Sancy mountain range.

From Le Verdier (1100m altitude), you can take a number of walks along signposted routes (for all levels of ability) but it is also a good base to explore the many surrounding villages such as Murol with its imposing Chβteau which has mediaeval re-enactments in high season - Saint-Nectaire with its romanesque church, casino, caves, thermal baths and tree top adventure trails Besse en Chandesse a charming mediaeval village, close to the volcanic crater Lake Pavin and the ski station of Superbesse Lake Chambon where you can swim, fish, hire a pedalo or windsurf. You can also visit the many local open markets and fetes held throughout the year.
Your holiday property: This is an old renovated farmhouse on two levels (ground and mezzanine)
The property comprises - on the ground floor: Large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen with an attractive stone chimney with wood burning fireplace - separate utility/storage area with separate WC and bathroom (bath with shower) - oak staircase leading to the mezzanine level: Bathroom/WC with shower cubicle - Four separate bedrooms: two with double beds, two with one set of bunk beds and one single bed.
